EC predicts these severe storms to begin this afternoon and continue on overnight, with a potential for hail and strong wind gusts.

They remind everyone, “when thunder roars, go indoors!”

Further south, Environment Canada has also issued multiple orange warnings for severe weather in central Alberta: a tornado and severe thunderstorm warning.
