North Peace Stampede on this weekend

The 70th North Peace Stampede is taking place this weekend at the Lac Cardinal Sports Grounds near Grimshaw.  

Friday night’s events start with local barrel racing at 7 p.m., followed by the All Pro Chuckwagon and Chariot races. 

Saturday starts at 4 p.m. with the first performance at the pro rodeo. The wagons will start at 7:30 p.m. 

On Sunday, the rodeo will start at 1 p.m., followed by the wagons at 6 p.m.
