Grande Prairie Reds 15U team wins provincial title

The Grande Prairie Reds 15U team has won a Baseball Alberta provincial championship. 

The Reds beat Medicine Hat 9-8 in the 15U AA Tier 1 championship on Sunday. 

Medicine Hat was the only team to beat the Reds in the pool round games. 

The championship tournament was played over the weekend in Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. 

The 18U AA Tier 1 Reds lost in the semi-finals at their provincials in Medicine Hat.   

The 13U AA Tier 3 Reds won the consolation final over the Calgary Bucks at their provincials in Calgary.
