Grande Prairie soccer player named to Canadian Football 7 squad

A soccer player from Grande Prairie has been picked to represent Canada at an international competition. 

Amy Lynn Wyatt has been named one of the defenders on Team Canada for the IFA7 Super Cup. 

It will take place from November 4 to 8 in Lima, Peru. 

This will be a Football 7 competition, which sees each team field seven players, rather than 11. 

Team Canada includes 15 players from Alberta, British Columbia and Yukon. 

Besides Canada and the host side from  Peru, teams from Ecuador, Mexico and Venezuela will also take part.
