Grande Prairie’s Oliver Dawson helped Canada win one of the five medals our country’s athletes collected Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships.
Dawson, Ingrid Wilm, Taylor Ruck and Finlay Knox took bronze in the mixed 4 x 100 medley relay. The U.S. and Australia won gold and silver respectively.
Three of these four swimmers are Albertans. Wilm is from Calgary. Knox is from Okotoks.
Ruck won three medals on the night. She also took bronze in the 50 metre butterfly and the 100 metre backstroke.
