92nd St. to close while the City trials road stabilization product

A road closure will go into effect in the McRae industrial area this week.

Starting on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 92 Street between 132 Ave and 141 Ave will be closed as crews complete tilling and “apply MG30, a road stabilization product, into the gravel road surface.”

They add that this is not something they’ve used before and are using this as a trial, “to determine how it performs on high-traffic industrial gravel roads where heavy vehicle use creates ongoing maintenance challenges.”

The City asks residents driving in the area to plan for delays.
