Villageof Berwyn release unofficial candidates list for 2026 by-election

The unofficial list of candidates in the Village of Berwyn’s by-election has been announced.

Edward Lock and Kenneth Montie have been named nominees to fill the vacant seat left by Patrick O’Brien in June.

Lock and Montie have until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, to withdraw their nomination prior to the list confirmation.

If both candidates maintain their nomination, the by-election is set for Sept. 21, 2026.
