Sexsmith Town Council accepts resignation of Councilor Ken Hildebrand
The Town of Sexsmith has accepted the resignation of a council member.
Councillor Ken Hildebrand has resigned after serving on council for eight years, first being elected in a by-election in 2018.
“I wish the council continued success in growing the Town of Sexsmith to its full potential, always keeping the best interests of our residents at the forefront of every decision,” Hildebrand says. “Currently, I feel it is the right moment in my personal life to step aside.”
“Councillor Hildebrand has been a dedicated advocate for our community,” says Mayor Kate Potter. “Being on council is a significant responsibility, and we appreciate the time, energy, and perspective he brought to the role.”
