City Hall looking for volunteers to help plant trees

City Hall says it is looking for volunteers to help plant some trees. 

A release from the city says it will host TD Tree Days from 9 a.m. until noon on Sunday at Ivy Lake Park. 

The city says it is looking for up to 30 volunteers to help plant 169 trees and shrubs. 

“The trees and shrubs planted at Ivy Lake Park will become part of Grande Prairie’s growing urban forest, supporting a healthy green space for residents to enjoy for years to come,” says Mayor Jackie Clayton in a news release.
