The Northwest Junior Hockey League exhibition season continues on Friday.
Fort St. John in Sexsmith starts at 7 p.m. Beaverlodge at the County Kings will get going at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Slave Lake in Sexsmith starts at 7 p.m. Dawson Creek in Beaverlodge will start at 8 p.m.
Sunday, Fairview at the County Kings will start at 6:30 p.m.
NWP Wolves
The regular season starts this weekend for the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves soccer teams.
They will visit NAIT Saturday and Sunday.
Game times will be 2 and 4:15 p.m. Saturday, noon and 2:15 p.m. Sunday, starting with the women’s game both days.
Auto Racing
It will be Championship Weekend Saturday and Sunday at the Hythe Motor Speedway.
There will be Run Your Junk, Elite Streets, and IMCA Modifieds on both days.
The Canadian Super Trucks will run on Saturday.
The weekend will also include a burnout contest and spectator drag races.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. both days, with racing starting at 3 p.m.
