Highway 40 closed due to tanker truck fire

Grande Prairie RCMP are responding to a tanker truck fire along Highway 40.

Mounties say the truck is burning near North Imperial Road, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.

At this time, no major injuries have been reported, but the highway will remain closed while emergency crews respond.
