Storm hosting season opener Friday night

It will be a big night at the Bonnetts Energy Centre Friday (September 18). 

The Grande Prairie Storm will host the Bonnyville Pontiacs in the opening game of the regular season. Face-off time will be 7 p.m. 

The Storm went all the way to the league semi-finals last season, before losing in seven games to Whitecourt. 

The home opener will also include a Fan Festival that will start at 5 p.m. 

It will include music, food trucks, face painting and a bunch of games.  

There is no cost to attend the Fan Festival. 

Game tickets are available through the Bonnetts Energy Centre box office.
