Fall officially arrives Tuesday eveing

Fall will officially arrive Tuesday evening. 

The Autumnal Equinox, the point when the sun’s rays move south across the equator, will happen at 6:04 p.m.

Equinox means there will be equal day and night. 

The number of daylight hours will continue to lessen until the Winter Solstice on December 21
