Early results announced for Village of Berwyn byelection

The Village of Berwyn has tentatively announced their newest council member.

Unofficial results show Kenneth Montie has been elected to council with 35 votes, overtaking runner-up Edward Locke’s 20.

Montie will be filling the vacant seat left by Patrick O’Brien in June.

The official vote count will be shared at a later time.

The Village is thanking every resident who turned out to vote in the byelection during an off-year.
