Eastlink Centre aquatics area officially reopens

The aquatics area at the Eastlink Centre has fully reopened following the completion of the pool’s annual maintenance.

Each year, the pool is shut down during the month of September to allow crews time to conduct maintenance work in hopes of avoiding large fixes that lead to extended closures in the future.

This year, work included repairs to pool filters, process piping, the 25-metre pool and hot pools, along with waterslide inspections.

An updated October pool schedule is now available on the city’s website to help residents plan their next trip.
