Rotary Clubs collecting socks and underwear in annual Dignity Drive Oct. 1-Nov. 8

All four Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie are partnering up again for their annual Dignity Drive to collect socks and underwear for people in need.

Throughout October and early November residents and visitors are asked to drop off newly purchased clothing at several locations, including Bonnetts Energy Centre, the Prairie Mall, and Centre 2000.

The items will then be donated to various organizations, including Wapiti House, GP Friendship Centre, the Canadian Mental Health Association and Sunrise House.

The campaign will also feature the second annual Play n Stay event at Card’s Cafe Oct. 15 and sixth annual Tighty Whitey Toss at Bonnetts Energy Centre Nov. 7.
