Bezanson Ag. Society receives grant from UFA Foundation

A Peace Country organization is among five across Alberta to get a $20,000 grant from UFA Agricultural Community Foundation’s Rural Communities Grant program.

The Bezanson Agricultural Society is getting the money for its Bezanson Community Hub Revitalization project.

UFA says on its website that the money will be used for new insulation and siding at the Memorial Hall, something that will reduce maintenance costs and increase energy efficiency.

A release from UFA says the grants are meant to “support a capital project that enriches education, recreation or culture and contributes to stronger, more connected rural communities.”
