Oct 7, 2026 | 4:22 PM

The Municipal District of Greenview has completed phase 1 of its Municipal Development Plan update project.

The MD has released its What We Heard Report, highlighting the feedback they received from the public during previous engagement sessions.

The MDP is a long-term, strategic document that guides how the community grows and evolves.

In the report, themes raised by the public included protecting the environment, maintaining rural lifestyles, government transparency, and more.

84 per cent of survey respondents selected protecting the environment as a goal to be maintained in any potential updates.

Phase 2 of the project is set to begin in February or March of 2027.
