Sexsmith resident wins $100,000 EXTRA draw

A Sexsmith resident has won $100,000.

Neil Bilodeau won the prize from the Aug. 12 LOTTO 6/49 EXTRA draw while conducting his twice-a-week habit of buying a Super Pack.

Bilodeau says his second ticket was the winner, and he had to check all the other tickets before he was sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him.

“I had to double-check the second ticket to make sure it was still a winner,” Bilodeau says. “[I said to the store clerk] ‘Is this for real? The machine had better not be lying!’”
