St. John Paul students protesting alleged online comments by a staff member

A walkout took place at a local high school earlier today (Tuesday, Oct. 13).

According to an email sent to the EverythingGP Newsroom, students walked out of class at St. John Paul II School in protest of alleged “online comments by a teacher within the district denying residential schools and their harm.”

At this time, the Grande Prairie and District Catholic School Division has not commented on the situation.
