Night Light Walk collects over $14,000, donations being taken through Saturday, Oct. 31

Oct 31, 2026 | 6:00 AM

The Night Light Walk held October 22 in Grande Prairie raised over $14,200.

That works out to 71 per cent of the goal of $20,000.

Donations are still being taken online through today (Saturday, October 31).

The money will be donated to Serenity Place, the second-stage shelter at Odyssey House.

The walk started at the Amphitheatre in Muskoseepi Park and wound its way through the park and the Avondale neighbourhood.

There were 15 walks held across Canada that raised $447,000 for women’s shelters.
