A championship high school football game will be played at the Community Knowledge Campus field Friday evening.

The St. Joe’s Celtics will play the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans in the Peace Bowl.

The Titans advanced with a 30-0 win over the Grande Prairie Phoenix last Friday.

The newest rankings from Football Alberta had St. Joe’s eighth and Peace Wapiti Academy 10th among 4A schools.

The Sexsmith Sabres will play the High Prairie Renegades for the 9-s-side title.

The Sabres beat Whitecourt 46-6, while the Renegades defeated Peace River 26-13, in the semi-finals.

Sexsmith is third in the 9-a-side provincial rankings. High Prairie is fifth.

In bantam football, the Grande Prairie Norsemen will visit Wainwright Saturday to start provincials.
