A 59-year-old man died after a collision on Highway 40 on Thursday.

At approximately 6:23 a.m. on December 14, Grande Prairie RCMP were dispatched to a fatal collision involving a semi and pick-up truck on Highway 40 near Canfor Road south of town.

“The semi was driving northbound on Highway 40 when the pick-up truck turned Southbound from Canfor Road onto Highway 40 causing the semi to strike the pick-up truck on the driver side,” according to an RCMP news release.
