Two people sent to hospital after multiple collisions Saturday morning

Grande Prairie RCMP is reminding drivers to keep road conditions in mind as the temperatures rise for spring. 

Over 20 vehicles were involved in collisions on Saturday morning (March 17). Between 8:50 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., police, fire crews, and emergency personnel responded to several accidents between 132 Avenue and 156 Avenue on 100 Street. 

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Police are attributing the crashes to icy roads and foggy conditions.
