A woman from Grande Prairie is among four charged following a break and enter at a rural property near Edmonton in which the suspects rammed the homeowner’s truck while he was inside it.

The man was not hurt.

Police say the homeowner was returning to his property in Leduc County south of Edmonton when he caught four people coming out of his house.

After ramming the truck the four suspects ran off, but were later arrested.

30-year-old Erikka Fred has been charged with break and enter, possession of break in tools, resist arrest, breach of recognizance, and theft.

“I’m pleased with the ongoing successes of the ICRU and the partnerships with the communities in Central Alberta District” says Corporal Pete MacMillan of the ICRU.  “Our continued strategy is to target, monitor, and interrupt the activities of repeat offenders.”
