Scheidegger 2-0 at Masters

Casey Scheidegger is 2-0 after a pair of big wins today at curling’s Masters, being played in Truro, Nova Scotia.
 
Scheidegger scored one in an extra end to beat Olympic champion Anna Hasselborg 6-5.
 
She then scored a deuce in the last end to beat Satsuke Fujisawa’s team from Japan 7-6.
 
Scheidegger will next face American Jamie Sinclair at 8:30 a.m. Alberta time tomorrow.
 
Grande Prairie’s Cary-Anne McTaggart and Kristie Moore are with the Scheidegger rink.
 
On the men’s side, Brad Gushue and Geoff Walker are playing Regina’s Matt Dunstone in their first game today.
 
Kevin Koe got a four-ender in the last end to beat Jamie Murphy from Halifax 8-5. He will play a team from Norway in his next game tomorrow.
