GPVSB accepting volunteer nominations for 2018

The Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau is looking for a few good volunteers that deserve recognition.

The Bureau’s Executive Director Carol -Ann Pasemko says they are accepting nominations for the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award.

“So we are not looking at the number of hours that they’ve volunteered, but that they’ve made a significant difference and generally these people tend to volunteer for a lot of different places.”

Nominations can be sent in for Corporate Volunteer of the Year and Pasemko says they are looking for a business that really promotes volunteerism.

“Who have their employees out volunteering or allow for their employee to volunteer and promote that through their corporate culture. We are not looking for corporations who donate money.”

You have until the 29th to get your nominations in.
