One person sent to hospital after collision on Highway 43

There was a collision between a semi and a pick-up truck east of the city around 6:20 this morning.

RCMP say the semi was heading east on Highway 43 when the northbound truck crossed the highway at RR 55.

The driver of the pick-up was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both lanes of Highway 43 eastbound are open after one lane was closed for a few hours this morning.
