New naming rights sponsor for Peace Country Classic Agri-Show announced

Feb 5, 2019 | 12:41 PM

There is a new naming rights sponsor for the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show.

Foster’s Seed and Feed and Foster’s Agri World have been selected as the new sponsor.

Foster’s President Jesse Foster says he’s no stranger to the Agri-Show, and he’s excited that the company is getting recognized in the agriculture community.

“You know what, I’ve worked this show since I was 18-years-old, so that’s just about 20 years now. It’s a super thrill to be recognized in the agriculture community that we’ve been in for basically 70 years. I’m third generation and we’ve got two boys. We’re looking to make it a fourth generation,” says Foster.

The Beaverlodge based company also has locations in Fairview, and also serves the B.C. Peace with a location in Fort Saint John.

The company has agreed to a five-year contract. Foster notes agreeing to the partnership was an easy decision to make.

“Once we finalized some of the details with some of the logos and where signage is going to go, it was a no brainer for us,” says Foster. “To have that name up there, it’s huge for us.”

The 34th annual show which will now be known as Foster’s Peace Country Classic Agri-Show runs from March 7 – 9 at Evergreen Park.
