Police investigating fatal horse shooting

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating after a horse was shot and killed in the Grovedale area.

The report came in Sunday.

RCMP say it happened on private property and that a young horse had what they are calling a “possible bullet wound to the head.”

No other animals were hurt.
