Musse pleads guilty to aggravated assault charge

Jul 3, 2018 | 3:18 PM

Liban Musse appeared in Grande Prairie court today where he pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault.

The charge is from an incident at the Prairie Mall in September of 2016 where he discharged a firearm that resulted in injuries to three people.

The Crown gave Musse a three-year sentence. He will spend the next 105 days in the Lethbridge Correctional Centre after receiving 990 days credit for time already spent in jail.

All other charges were dropped. This was the first day of trial.
