Flu clinics are open

Flu shot clinics are open across the city and county.

The Alberta Health Services influenza immunization clinic in Grande Prairie is at the Provincial Building 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays.

There are two clinics in Beaverlodge. One is at the Anglican Church Hall and the other at the Community Health Services building near the hospital.

If you are in/around Hythe, a clinic will be open November 7th 1-4 p.m. at the Golden Age Centre.

Flu shots will also be offered at the Grande Prairie airport Thursday to anyone nine years and older from 2-5 p.m.

Also new this year, pharmacists can administer the influenza vaccine to children five years and older, children under the age of five must get their shot at an AHS clinic.
