New exhibit launches at Dinosaur museum

The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is hosting a new venue for the first time.
 
Assistant Curator Derek Larson says the exhibit features dinosaurs that can be found in your own backyard.
 
 “Our Feathered Friends, which comes from the Canadian Museum of Nature, details some of the living dinosaurs that we have around us today.  That is the birds.  So birds are dinosaurs.”
 
The exhibit is open to all ages between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Sundays. 
 
It will be running until January 30th.
