RCMP investigating robbery in Beaverlodge

RCMP are investigating a robbery at the Beaverlodge Hotel and Tavern.
 
It happened Thursday, March 8 just before 1 p.m.
 
Police say a man had come into the establishment and was playing the VLTs. He then went up to an employee and demanded she open the safe. It looked like he had a weapon, although it was not visible. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
 
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 5’8″ with light facial hair that may be light orange. He was wearing black track pants, a black sweater, black toque, grey runners, and sunglasses.
