Some fire advisories lifted, others still in place

UPDATE: (5:35 p.m.) The fire advisory has now been lifted in the Peace River Forest River. 

The cool, rainy weather means the fire advisory has been lifted for the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
 
This area has had 28 wildfires so far this year that have burned a little over 13 hectares.

The County of Grande Prairie has also lifted its fire advisory.

The fire advisory is still in effect for the Peace River Forest Area.
 
The MD of Greenview, Birch Hills County, and the MD of Spirit River still have fire advisories in place as well.
 
A fire ban is still in effect for the MD of Peace.
