Loewen nominated as UCP candidate for Central Peace-Notley
Todd Loewen, the MLA for the former riding of Grande Prairie-Smoky has been announced as the UCP nomination for the new Central Peace-Notley riding.
United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney made it official Tuesday morning.
“Todd is a valued member of our caucus and has served his constituents well over the past three years. The expertise and knowledge he has brought to his role as Environment and Parks Critic is a tremendous asset as we work to hold the NDP to account for its failed climate policies, including the multi-billion dollar carbon tax. I am thrilled to know that Todd will continue to be a part of our United Conservative team as we work to earn the trust of Albertans and provide a credible alternative to the NDP in 2019,” said Kenney in a press release.
Loewen says he has met with many residents over the last six months.
