UPDATE: Range Road 95 re-opened after flooding

UPDATE: The County of Grande Prairie has re-opened Range Road 95, from just north of Highway 43 to Township Road 720 following a temporary road closure due to flooding.

Staff will continue to monitor the roa, and remind drivers to use caution as road conditions can change rapidly.

The county asks that if you see an area that requires immediate attention, to call the Public Works 24-hour E,ergency Line at 780-532-7393

 

 

Flooding has caused the immediate closure of Range Road 95, located north of Highway 43 to Township Road 720. 

The County says melting snow has caused a significant amount of water to flood the road. 

The road is being monitored by County staff and updates will be provided once they’re available. 

Drivers are being encouraged to use caution as road conditions could change rapidly. 

The County says anyone who encounters flooded roads, frozen culverts or road damage that could affect travel to contact the Public Works 24-hour Emergency Line at 780-532-7393.
