Closures at 214 Place intersection starting Sunday

Work on the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project is moving to 100 Avenue and 102 Street by 214 Place. The intersection will be impacted for about three weeks.

Starting Sunday (June 24), traffic will be restricted to westbound only for about five days.

Then on approximately Friday (June 29), the entire intersection will be closed for an additional two weeks.

Motorists will need to use 100 Street for north/south travel.

To get to the west side of the city, motorists will need to use 84 Avenue, 108 Avenue, or 116 Avenue.  

Pedestrians can detour around the intersection using the west side of 102 Street.

The contractor will be completing concrete work, milling and paving, and underground work on storm, sanitary, and water services.

It should take about three weeks, but it depends on the weather.
