City of Edmonton working on discouraging vaping among teens

The City of Edmonton is looking at how it can discourage the sale of vaping products to youths.

Councillor Michael Walters says advertising for vaping seems to be aimed at where young people hang out.

Federal legislation does not mandate ID checks for vaping customers who appear to be under 25.

And Alberta does not have provincial regulations for vaping.

The Canadian Cancer Society believes legislation has lagged behind the teen vaping trend.
