A city man is facing charges after RCMP say a gas line to a home was deliberately cut and there were threats to cause an explosion.
Officers were called to the incident on July 18 at a residence in the Ivy Lake Estates area.
At the time they were called for a complaint of a natural gas leak. Officials turned the gas off to ensure safety to the community. Police then entered the home and made an arrest.
Fifty-two-year-old Sylvain Campion has been charged with Mischief and Obstruction.
He remains in custody and is due in court on Monday.
