Increase in break-and-enters in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie has been experiencing an increase in break-and-enters in the last few weeks.

Cpl. Shawn Graham says they have arrested people that are allegedly responsible for several of the crimes.

“It is not necessarily a bunch of people breaking into a bunch of places. It can just be one, two, or three individuals doing the majority of the break-and-enters,” said Graham.

The B and E’s have involved both vehicles and houses, but statistics have not been provided by RCMP.
