Education minister in Grande Prairie for school opening

The education minister is in Grande Prairie today.
This afternoon David Eggen will be at the opening of the Roy Bickell Public School, the 18th school in the Grande Prairie Public School District.
The ceremony starts at 1:00 p.m. with an Opening Blessing by Elder Darlene Cardinal and will hear remarks from Roy Bickell’s daughter Judy Brewster followed by remarks from the minister and school officials.
Then from 6:30 till 8:00 tonight the minister will be holding a meet and greet at the Railtown Esquires to talk about what is going on in the region and province.
