101 Avenue set to re-open

101 Avenue is scheduled to re-open to traffic this Thursday, according to a city news release.

It has been closed between 100 Street and 102 Street in downtown Grande Prairie since June 2017.

This allowed work to be done as part of the city’s Downtown Rehabilitation Project, including the installation of concrete seat walls and planter beds. 

There was also minor electrical work.

101 Street re-opened to traffic on November 18, 2017.
