STARS Lottery early bird deadline was Wednesday night

The STARS Lottery early bird deadline was midnight Wednesday night. 

Proceeds from the fundraiser go to keeping STARS Air Ambulance running in the community. Since 1985, STARS says they have flown over 36,000 missions in Alberta. There is a base located in the Peace Region near the Grande Prairie Airport.

Tickets for the draw can be purchased online with the winner of the early bird prize getting $350,000. 

Other prizes include a $500,000 grand prize, car prizes, and vacation prizes. 

The early bird prize draw will be held on March 16, 2018, with lucky stars and main draw taking place on April 6, 2018.
