Water taxi available for Old Fort residents

Residents cut off by a landslide in northeastern BC will have access to a water taxi Wednesday.
 
The Peace River Regional District says the taxi will transport Old Fort residents to the Taylor Boat Launch and vice versa.
 
There will be a bus service to Fort St.John but that is not available today.
 
Monday a hillside just west of Old Fort continued to slump, ripping a huge slab away from the hill and pulling dirt, trees, several power poles and the only road to Old Fort along with it. Officials have said the roughly 30 homes in Old Fort are not in danger but two properties have been ordered evacuated.
