Man charged with Arson after structure fire on 98th St.

A city man has been charged with Arson after a structure fire Thursday afternoon at an abandoned building.

Fire crews and RCMP were called to the fire around 1 p.m. Thursday, near the hospital on 98 Street.  

Witnesses reported seeing a suspicious male in the area at the time the fire started.

The suspect was located and arrested.

31-year-old Trevor Martineau of Grande Prairie has been charged with Arson with damage to property and with failing to comply with conditions.
