2019 Folk Festival set to be largest in event history
The fourth annual Bear Creek Folk Festival is shaping up to be one of the largest in the event’s short history.
With Blue Rodeo committing to perform in the Swan City this summer, it was announced earlier this week that the Crash Test Dummies will also be taking the stage at the festival.
“We have, easily, our most headliner rich year that we’ve ever had,” said Producer of the Folk Festival Sarah Card. “Although I’m really excited for the announcements we’ve made, there are a lot more really big announcements coming down the pipe. It’s going to be an absolutely fantastic year.”
The event is slated to go from August 16-18 on Borstad Hill at Muskoseepi Park. Much like the venue, Card notes that patrons can expect a similar atmosphere compared to previous years, adding the organizing committee has found great success from those events, but is still making minor tweaks.
