Update: Classes resume at Sexsmith Secondary School

UPDATE:  The leak at Sexsmith Secondary School from a burst water line has been contained. Students and staff have returned to the school and classes have resumed. 

Sexsmith Secondary School was evacuated this morning due to a burst water line at the school.

The students have been evacuated to the Sexsmith Arena and school administrators are releasing students to any parents who wish to pick up their child(ren).

PWPSD Maintenance staff are working to repair the water line and the school should be open again once the repair is complete.
