Josephine Luna Angeles peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020, after a valiant battle with breast cancer, at the age 41 years.
Josephine was born on December 25, 1978 to Brigida and Leonardo Luna in Sasmuan, Pampanga, Philippines. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at AMA Makati, PH. She was employed by Philippine AXA for 10 years and worked as a payroll admin at Pomeroy Group of Companies in Canada for 6 years.
She married Edward Angeles on December 8, 2003 and was blessed with two wonderful children. Josephine was a very dedicated wife and a loving mother. She treasured her husband and children; her family always came first.
She made friends everywhere she went. They described her as brave, punctual, very selfless, caring, humble, kindhearted and a shopaholic (her favorite store before quarantine was Walmart but during quarantine, she got hooked with online shopping hahaha!). Her colleagues also described her as a woman who always had a smile on her face, sweet, smart, organized, dedicated, and very hardworking. The management considered her as their Gold Standard when it came to hiring employees.
Josephine was always passionate about cooking. Her love for food always led to sharing it with her friends to enjoy as well, especially her famous and sought after “Kare-Kare”. She was such a kind and beautiful soul.
Cherished wife of Edward Angeles; loved and adored mother of Ryan Joseph Angeles and Ashleigh Nicolle Angeles; beloved daughter of Brigida and Leonardo Luna; and a giving sister to Bernadeth Suing, Christopher Luna and Celine Luna.
She put up a good fight battling the big C for 5 years.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped in every way they could and prayed for Josephine during her most difficult times.
A Viewing and Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 7:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). Cremation to follow.
