Christopher William Hood       
January 21, 1979 – May 2, 2026

Christopher William Hood, 47, passed away on May 2, 2026, after complications related to his long battle with diabetes.

Chris spent much of his life in Grande Prairie, Alberta and Prince George, British Columbia. He worked as a sign technician, yoga instructor and a chef, bringing creativity, care, and passion to everything he did. He had a natural talent for fixing things and a love for drawing, art, and graphic novels.

Chris was known for his laugh that was almost as big as his smile, and the light he brought into every room. He had a way of making people feel at ease and could always be counted on to bring a smile to someone’s face. Above all, he loved his family deeply. He especially adored his children and took great pride in being their father.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Joseph Hood (28), and his daughter, Autumn Vivian Hood (6).

A celebration of life will be held at 5 Mile Hall June 13 from 1p.m. to 5p.m. All who loved him are welcome.

Chris will be deeply missed
But never forgotten.
